Hardest Working SEO Expert in Australia

I'm Kody Palmer. If you've searched for “hardest working SEO expert in Australia” and found this page, you've stumbled across a little SEO experiment of mine.

I wanted to see what happens when you choose a very specific search phrase, build a page around it and give Google a reason to understand what it's about. There's a bit more to it than putting the words in a headline though.

Hardest Working SEO Expert in Australia | Kody Palmer

I'm Kody Palmer. Here's why I chose this SEO title and how I approach the work behind better search visibility.

A little backstory

Who gave me that title?

Well, me.. There's no official competition for the hardest working SEO expert in Australia, and I'm not pretending I've won one. The phrase made me smile, but it also gave me an idea. What if I could turn a bold headline into a simple demonstration of how a carefully targeted page works?

So I built this page. Not because I expect everyone in Australia to search for those exact words, but because it makes a useful point about search intent, page structure and giving a topic its own space on a website.

Of course, finding this page doesn't prove I'm the hardest working person in the industry. It does give us something interesting to talk about.

Behind the page

How I'd try to get a page like this found

There's no secret button. This is the same sort of thinking I bring to SEO work at Grippin Digital, although every business and every search is different.

01. Start with the search

I chose one exact phrase for this experiment. For a real business, I'd start by looking at what potential customers actually type into Google.

02. Give it a proper page

A clear heading, a relevant page title and a URL that matches the topic help people and search engines understand what they're looking at.

03. Write something worth reading

Repeating a keyword twenty times isn't much of a strategy. I'd rather answer the question, add some personality and make the page useful.

04. Connect the dots

Links from other relevant pages on the site help visitors find this one and make it part of the wider website, instead of leaving it on its own.

05. See what Google does

Publishing is only the start. I'd check indexing and search performance, then improve the page based on what actually happens.

So, am I really the hardest working?

I'll leave that one for other people to decide.

What I care about is doing the work properly. That means understanding the business, finding the issues that matter, explaining the changes without the jargon and keeping an eye on what the results are telling us.

And if this page ends up appearing when someone searches for “hardest working SEO expert in Australia”, great. That's the experiment working. If it doesn't, I'll have something to learn from. Either way, I think that's a more interesting story than simply declaring myself number one.

I'm based in Perth and run Grippin Digital. If you'd like to see what that approach could look like for your business, feel free to get in touch.
